Overview
The Delco Remy 31MT is a medium-duty gear-reduction starter developed from the proven 29MT platform, of which more than 1.25 million OE units have been installed worldwide. Designed for Class 6 and 7 commercial vehicles, the 31MT delivers 4.1 kW at 12V and handles engines up to 9 litres. Its corrosion-resistant construction and planetary gear drive make it ideal for urban delivery, school bus, and medium-duty fleet applications with frequent start-stop duty cycles. The noseless pinion support design minimises debris accumulation for reliable performance in all conditions.
