Standard terms governing all commercial transactions with New Indo Trading Company.

"Company" refers to New Indo Trading Company, 207 Sethi Bhawan, 7 Rajendra Place, New Delhi 110008, India. "Buyer" refers to any person or entity purchasing goods or services from the Company. "Goods" refers to Delco Remy starters, alternators, service parts, and related products supplied by the Company. "Order" refers to a confirmed purchase order or quotation acceptance.
New Indo Trading Company is an authorized distributor of Delco Remy heavy-duty starters and alternators for the Indian subcontinent. All products are genuine, factory-manufactured parts sourced from Phinia Technologies Inc. (formerly BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems, formerly Remy International Inc., USA) production facilities in Mexico, Hungary, Korea, and other global locations, through M/s Phinia Delphi India Private Limited.
All quotations issued by the Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless explicitly stated as inclusive. A quotation becomes a binding order only upon written acceptance by the Buyer and written confirmation by the Company. The Company reserves the right to revise prices if acceptance is received after the validity period.
Standard payment terms are 100% advance payment via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) or demand draft prior to dispatch. For established accounts with approved credit, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Late payments attract interest at 18% per annum calculated on a daily basis. All bank charges, including intermediary bank charges for international transfers, are borne by the Buyer.
Delivery timelines are indicative and commence from the date of payment confirmation or credit approval. Standard delivery for ex-stock items is 3–7 working days within India. International shipments are quoted separately with CIF/FOB terms as applicable. Risk of loss passes to the Buyer upon handover to the carrier. The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure, carrier issues, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
All genuine Delco Remy products carry the manufacturer’s global warranty as per Phinia Technologies Inc. warranty policy. Warranty claims must be processed through the Company or the official Delco Remy warranty portal. The Company does not provide any warranty beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. Returns are accepted only for manufacturing defects or shipping errors, and must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Products must be returned in original, unused condition with all packaging intact. Custom-ordered or special-import items are non-returnable. Order cancellations after dispatch are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus actual shipping costs incurred.
The Company’s total liability under any order shall not exceed the invoice value of the specific goods in question. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to loss of production, loss of profit, equipment downtime, or third-party claims. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
All trademarks, brand names, and product designations mentioned on this website — including “Delco Remy,” “Phinia,” and OEM names such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins, and others — are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for descriptive and identification purposes.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. The parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal proceedings.
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued placement of orders after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
