Overview
The 42MT is Delco Remy's flagship heavy-duty straight-drive starter for on-highway and off-road commercial applications, available in 12V (7.3 kW) and 24V (8.0 kW). It cranks up to 10.5% faster than competing starters and is built to start large-displacement diesel engines reliably across all temperature conditions. A semi-solid-link solenoid and optional Over-Crank Protection make it one of the most robust and abuse-tolerant starters in its class.
