Overview
The 41MT is a wound-field straight-drive starter designed for medium-to-heavy commercial diesel applications where a lighter, more compact unit is appropriate without sacrificing reliability. It supports 12V (5.0 kW) and 24V (7.0 kW) systems and can handle engines up to 9.8L (12V) or 12.0L (24V). Dual SAE #1 and SAE #3 mounting compatibility gives it flexibility across a broad range of truck OEM platforms including Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Volvo.
